I create the music that makes me vibrate, without enclosing myself in a style, it’s a House that speaks to me, that resembles me, that I love, full of history, inspired by great producers, great labels, current and looking towards the future.

Born in Lille in the north of France, music has always been part of Chris Lowone’s DNA since he was a child. Deejay at the age of 14, he went through residencies in the most fashionable clubs in the region and began to take an interest in the atmosphere of trendy clubs in Belgium.

In 1993, he was hired as a salesman in one of the most famous record stores in southern Belgium (Disco Smash) and became its owner a year later. For 10 years, he worked with labels, distributors and djs around the world to import the best songs he sells to djs across the region of northern France and southern Belgium.

On the dj side, Chris Lowone has always worked for the long haul, preferring to be a resident of a club and work with his customer’s weekend after weekend than to be invited as a guest at parties. His thoroughness, seriousness and commitment have led him to participate over the years in the development and reputation of two of the best clubs in southern Belgium between 1998 and 2008: The Zoo Club and the H2O Club.

Production was not a priority for Chris Lowone during his years as a resident dj due to lack of time and technical knowledge. However, he created his label Lowone Records in 2006, had a few notable releases and remixes that have toured the world thanks in particular to Roger Sanchez who regularly played everything Chris Lowone sent him.

After a 10-year break in his DJ career, the desire to produce his own music professionally was more and more present and in 2019 Chris Lowone set up his own studio at home, doing training to learn the music production on Ableton Live and acquire enough knowledge to send his first tracks.

It’s once again his meeting with Roger Sanchez in 2009 that will be decisive since it’s he himself who will sign the first 3 tracks on his legendary label Stealth recording.

Demanding in his productions and always looking to reach the level of the producer djs he has followed and respected for years, Chris Lowone tirelessly works his tracks with one thing in mind; quality more than quantity.
